Might be easier to lock them in together? Or something?
That would be easier, and safer, yes!
If I let him in would he mess with ANY girl? Or just Liv?
I completely agree! And I am sorry to hear of your suffering, I hope you find a coop cure soon! What I need is another big coop. I have one for the Tsouloufates, a small pen for the grow outs, a medium pen for the bantam mix breeds, a small coop for the Asiatics, a small pen for the serama...I suffer from not-enough-coops-osis. I need the big coop for the serama, so that I can use the small pen for the grow outs!
It's never enough! NeEeEvEr EnOoOoUgH!No thank you, I have enough already! One Cochin/Ameraucana hybrid who mounts his hens sideways but makes up for his unfortunate attempts by having the sweetest personality; some kind of either hatchery quality Dutch Bantam or Old English Game Bantam/Dutch Bantam hybrid that would do anything to get far away from me; one Cochin Bantam who is scared at the world and screams at anything he sees; one Buff-Laced Polish who will need rehoming due to liking the hens too much; and one Speckled Sussex who keeps dropping his wing at me.
Do you see that I have enough going on for me now?![]()
He tried to drop a wing at a few but everyone ran lol. He did pin Olivia once but it was for literally 2 seconds. He got on, he got pushed off? And she jumped up. Some marshmallow fluff shot out (if ya know what I mean) and that was that. I suppose she said no? I know nothing of mating behavior. I will def have to google it on top of yalls advice.Well, you won't know that for sure unfortunately until you try. Logically, he will go to the bird that is interested in him the most first. The very young ones (comparatively) should be left alone, but again, not a guarantee. Although it seems like he's a respectful male. You know him better than I do, though. The ideal would be a separate pen where you could put them for a few minutes or so
