Sooo a few things about the attack. Where were the other birds standing? I've never been able to stop an aggressive male from doing aggressive male things, and I've tried most techniques recommended, on a few males. If you'd still like to keep him, I suggest you read this really good article

Article 'Understanding Your Rooster.' https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/understanding-your-rooster.75056/

I haven't read TwoCrows' yet, although it's been on my to do list

I collected this strange-looking egg today! I think it is beautiful; I haven't ever seen one like this, as far as I know, so I think a hen might have had an issue with producing the pigment.

Gorgeous! I've been getting some new olive eggs from the Tsouloufati pullets. Honestly, don't love the olive eggs

I was walking normal. Towards the coop area to add water to their waterers bc the boogers knocked it over. Chickens were walking around me. They weren't super close to me either. It was odd. Idk why he attacked my leg.

I'd be tempted to hatch it just to see what baby popped out of such an interesting egg.

Atropos. With a friendly preening by one of my RIRs.....Cinnamon! (She has more yellowish legs. Cleo has more orange ish pink)
A friendly preening 🤣🤣🤣

That looks like red leakage, but probably not male specific, if you catch her in the daylight, get a broadside shot of her 😁 what a cute crest. Yeah, I think a splash or blue silkie would be fun to cross with her. No telling what other color genetics that black is hiding though. A true black x Blue would give you black and blue chicks, a true black x Splash would give you blue chicks. But if she has one copy of black and it's hiding something else, then who knows! Maybe I'll hatch a partridge that I can send your way for her, that might be interesting.
