New hen mom here. We ordered our first flock of baby chicks from My Pet Chicken and they sadly all arrived to us dead. We struggled as to whether we should accept a replacement order or get a refund and decided to try again. Yesterday morning we got a box full of 7 adorable, spritely and sweet baby girls. My whole family is excited but I am especially obsessed with them. My husband has been working from home while I livestream them at my desk at work. My coworkers have been coming by for little chick therapy breaks. I'm so looking forward to our life with chickens and am grateful for all of the wisdom of everyone here that I have already benefited from.

The hemp bedding My Pet Chicken sells for their brooder is amazing, if you have some, don't turn your nose up at it - I see you using puppy pads?! as bedding...

What breeds did you buy? They sure are cute! They will LOVE the small roosting jungle gym, mine are 4-5 weeks old and still love it to bits! Mine are outside though, enjoying the grass, bugs and dirt!
