My lovely and sweet 3 year old Isabrown has recently become quite unpredictable, attacking us for no apparent reason at all. First I thought it was because she was moulting, but that’s over now. She isn’t brooding or anything like that. Then I thought she was being irritable due to the series of heatwaves we are enduring over here in Europe. She doesn’t take heat well. Could this be the reason?

Thanks a lot for your help and guidance!

Tony.

Boy, hard to say....she's just old and cranky?
Please describe when and how the attacks happen.

Knowing more about your flock might also offer clues:
-your flock size(numbers, ages, genders).
-your coop(size in feet by feet with pics).
-and what and how exactly you are feeding.

Oh, and .... Welcome to BYC! @jenssentf

Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
