From McMurray, fancy layer, what breed?

Just saying, if you google that and look at *bodies* (not colors) it looks absolutely nothing like any that pop up. Also- not sure who considers a Cornish a "Layer", but hey- now we know! ;)
Apparently the hatchery they came from. 🤣

Def not layers.

I just went through their page and see nothing like this on their site. So... maybe they didn't even know or it is a mix thus the generic "fancy layer" ID.
McMurray sells lots of assortments, where each chick is purebred, but they put chicks of many different breeds into the box. ("Purebred" as much as any hatchery birds are.)

I think OP must have ordered the "Ornamental Layer Collection"
https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/ornamental_layer_collection.html
"chicks from our Rarest of Rare Assortment and Top Hat Special which will be FEMALE BABY CHICKS!"

And the Rarest of Rare Assortment includes "W. L. Red Cornish" among the possible breeds:

Here's the White Laced Red Cornish page:
https://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/white_laced_red_cornish.html
They've got photos of two hens, and the leg length looks similar to me.

So I think the chicken is White Laced Red Cornish, of the quality usually sold by McMurray Hatchery.

I have one who looks similar and I’ve been told she’s an Amberlink. She lays a large dark brown egg. Is yours laying?
