been a long time lurker here but now i have found the need to post something, we have a surprise rooster to give away to anyone in the area who can give him a good home.

he is a Gold Laced Wyandotte approx 5 months old and a beautiful boy, but we cannot have roosters here so i have to find him a home.

anyone interested send me a message.

thanks
Tom

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Sorry you have to rehome your boy. You might start in your state thread and chat with your chicken neighbors. Maybe someone nearby will take him...https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/248345/pennsylvania-unite

When you have 20 posts, you can place an ad in our Buy Sell and Trade section for more exposure as well...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/16182/animals-in-need-of-free-re-homing

Good luck and I hope you can find him a nice forever home soon. :)

I'm right down the road from you

I gave away 14 roos last weekend, to be eaten of course. If that is an acceptable fate for your roo, lots of people will take him.

Welcome to BYC, Tom. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining.) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in re-homing your rooster.
