Thank you all for the hospitality! yes we just need a home for our boy and i can't seem to turn him into a broiler, went and got somewhat attached to the guy. going to just house him in my 20x40 garden for a while, it has a moose rated electric fence around it so he should be okay for now.
 
Thank You for the welcome, yes he seems like he would make a fine rooster and his temperament is good so far.
