Hello everybody,
Here I am from Quebec with my lovely flock of around 25 hens and some cockerels. Chicken love appeard only last year but keept on growing every single minute. We started with 4 brown hens and a very small chicken coop, then builded a 8'x4' for the winter. That wasn't big enough so we transformed a 16'x8' shed into a insulated chicken coop in the spring. We added a plastic car garage as an inside run, plus an outside run of about 60'x40'. We own several breeds (Black Copper Maran, Lavander Orpington, Leghorns, Lakenvelder, Olive and Ester Egger, Ameraucana, Frizzle, Bantam Bearded d'Uccles (Mille fleurs and Porcelaine), Silkies and Bantam Wyandottes (Silver and Golden Laced and Cuckoo). We brought fertilized eggs (Black Copper Maran, Speckled Sussex and Plymouth Rock Barre) but lost many of them along the way from unknown illness. So I'll certainly be back shortly with some question! Oh! And please forgive me with my not very good English. I do my best, believe me!
