I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.
If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

(Forgive me for joining your thread, but as a close neighbor I thought I'd say hello.)
Hello @JoPoKa , @Draig99 ! I'm also a Quebecan Canadian BYC like you two, placed right on the outskirts of the Capital of Quebec itself, in Ste-Thérèse-de-Lisieux (right beside Ste-Brigitte-de-Laval). I speak both in French and English, we can switch languages anytime if you prefer one tongue over the other.
I only have a mixed flock for now (1 flighty Easter Egger Rooster, 1 nervous blue Ameraucana hen, 1 proud white columbian bendy hen of unknown origins who A hope will brood in April, 1 skittish Chantecler x Plymouth Rock hybrid hen that lays like crazy, and 1 curious Chantecler x ISA Brown hybrid hen, though that one's mother might have been a Rhode Island Red too. She's my favorite.)
I plan on getting some very cold-hardy Heritage Breeds in the future, because the winters on the outskirts of the capital are crazily cold and prone to temper tantrums. I might just try my hand at Chanteclers and Buckeyes in 2018-2019, if I find some certified breeders and can manage the money to order chicks by mail. (I don't even know how that works, having never done it in my life xD)
It's nice to finally find some Quebecan neighbors in BYC! I'm glad you've decided to join BYC, I hope you're both enjoying the site and having a good time with the people here! ^^
