From shipping crate to Pallet Coop (w/ pics)

I really like your little 'pallet' coop too, Bobby Joe!

thank you my DW just wont let me run to lumber yard a drop a bunch of money so I am looking for ideas to build lots of little coops out of pallets this way i can build them in my shop then take them to the community run

Free pallets and shipping crates is all that we use. It is VERY difficult to pry the wood off of them. The person that builds all of my pallet coops uses a hammer and crow bar to hammer, hit and pry the wood away. And then he takes all of the nails out of the wood. It is NOT easy. We finished our peacock aviary recently and we used ALL pallet wood. Painting is scheduled for this weekend. First let me say that there is nothing lowly about that shipping crate! I am sure it inspired envy in more than just my bargain-loving soul!
I love your coop. It has an old-time outbuilding style that really appeals to me.
