From Texas... now in Pennsylvania

So I am from Texas... and now I live in PA... there is like 2 feet of snow outside... and I need to go feed my girls... not really a problem, I just needed to vent!!!

I'm from Texas, too, and now live in North Carolina. I can't even stand the weather we're having down here. Honestly don't know how people in truly cold places deal. I feel your pain!

... hes really cute tho and built the coop for me so I cant be to mad at him, but this weather is deff not what I signed up for!

My daughter from PA now lives in TX with her Texan Hubby. She visits every year for 2 weeks to re-ground herself
During the '96 blizzard she and her lil sis were snowed in at the PA Farm Show.
PA isn't so bad if you get to go home at least once a year. You may eventually appreciate it. Even DD's hubby doesn't mind the PA visits these days.

I'm from Texas, and I am staying here. There are a lot of states that are beautiful , but I can't take that cold weather.

I've lived here my whole life (41years) and love the changing seasons. I've been to SC and couldn't take the heat. I've been to AR in October and couldn't take the bugs. I couldn't imagine it in the summer. Maybe when my bones get older I may change,but for now "theres no place like home" I'm not a fan of NY taxes and some of their laws but the scenery is great and PA is even better.
