I have seen the advertisements, and will probably buy the DVD set when it comes out. Planet Earth is by FAR the best filmed ANYTHING I have ever seen. My very favorite moment was the baby elephant playing in the water once the river was full again. That was some awesome footage.

Did anyone else get sick of Oprah's voice??? I cant stand the woman as it is and her voice was just plane annoying....

The Geese on the water was BREATHTAKING though.. I missed the first few minutes but will sit down at home tonight and watch it on the Big screen..

First 2 episodes were fabulous. Oprahs voice was fine, I thought. Some truly spectacular stuff on there...what about that dart frog carrying her babies up that tree one at a time?? And that octopus with her eggs in that cave?
