Well, our next-door-neighbors, Portland, are now getting ready to vote on backyard chickens. Since my daughter and I succesfully got our city to do so, the Portlanders have asked for some advice from us. The council votes on WEds and the biggest newspaper ran a big story today:

But check out the ignorant reader comments after the story! People get all worked up and they haven't even read the facts. It makes me so mad. Grrr. They just go, "NO!!!!! NO Farm animals in the city!!!!!" Argh.
