Unfortunately she passed a couple months back. At the time we weren’t sure why but I think it was mites. I found them on some of my house chickens and the outside ones. I think I carried them inside on my clothes.
I miss her greatly. She was unlike any little chicken I’ve had yet and irreplaceable. Her partner, a crossbeak roo, misses her greatly as well. He bonded quickly to her and only got to spend a little bit of time with her. She was even the dominant one in the relationship and she crowed. He didn’t start crowing until she passed.
