Hello!
One of our Red Sexlink hens has a been frost bitten on her cone, she is acting fine.
What should be done to her frost bitten cone?
Thank you!

Usually you don’t have to do anything. Comb points turn black and eventually fall off. Our rooster got frostbite on his wattles last year, when temps fell to -20º, and lost the tips of both. He shook his head a lot, but it healed by itself. He looks a little wonky, but he’s fine. EB2DD076-AA08-4713-9E25-5E5AFE3F5F6F.jpeg 793958FD-C14A-4FB2-98EF-390A39461212.jpeg
