i can get you a pictureCould you maybe explain what your rabbit's paws look like? I think urine scald or sore hocks would be much easier for a rabbit to get than frostbite.
Poor Bunny. He needs to get off the wire. He is getting very sore feet. Those are scabs/callous and the wire seams to be wearing off his hair on his feet or that's from him licking his feet.last year it looked like it had some black spots, this year a little as well
i just wondered if the black spots were a scab or frostbite
ok thanks for everything!Poor Bunny. He needs to get off the wire. He is getting very sore feet. Those are scabs/callous and the wire seams to be wearing off his hair on his feet or that's from him licking his feet.
Hope you can figure out a better solution to his pen..
My Bunny lived in a concrete bottom pen and used a litter box to poop and pee inside. Plus she lived in my chickens Coop when she had babies and I had no chickens.
ok, thanksWe put down plywood over half the wire. You need to clean on a regular basis if the urine and poop builds up too much. We also put down thick hay in winter over the wire parts. I hope with just a few changes your rabbit will start to heal.
