She has gotten worse! The vet put her on meds but all she does is sleep and doesnt eat or drink enough... She cant walk anymore and her one eye is always closed...
I fear the worse for her... My mom doesnt want her to die either, we wouldnt mind her being a house pet.
Did your vet check her for a fracture or a dislocation? I am guessing this is the problem, which would explain the pain/swelling and the fact that the nerves are compromised due to injury. What type of meds is she on? Is it one or both legs affected?

Well her one leg is affected big time. anytime she sits her right leg goes in front and her left goes behind her. She seem to not be able to walk with the left leg now. She poops when she is sleep on her side
This position of one leg in front and one leg in back is typical of Mareks disease. Here are 2 references to read on Mareks--please look at all 18 Cornell pictures with descriptions:

Marek's is caused by 1 of 6 herpes viruses. It's not always fatal, but older birds can be carriers and it's much more dangerous in younger chicks. There are vaccines for it. Usually chicks get it from older birds so it is best to not introduce chicks to hens until they are 2 to 3 months old. Unfortunately there's no cure and rather treatment is just supportive care. Keep the chick isolated, warm, feed yogurt with apple cider vinegar and probiotics to support immune system and hopefully she will pull through! If she does, it will be better to practice and all in/all out chicken policy so as to not infect others in the future. The virus can live in bedding for years, so make sure to dispose of it properly in bagged garbage or hot compost. I'm sorry that your chick is not doing well. I will cross my fingers for her!
