FrostBite? Or maybe injured? OR both? Not sure. Help!

Im calling an avian vet tomorrow. Another chicken in my flock seems to be injured. But she kicks her feet and can stand and move her feet. She just can't balance. She seems to fall forward.

Gretel has been the same for over a week now, No progress and not getting worse..

Im just started giving her vitamins two days ago.

She wont stop trying to flap her wings. tomorrow is the appointment.

Today all she did was flap her wings and move her head like a crazy... and chirping. Tomorrow were putting her down.

Today, I put her pain to an end. At the vets, they confirmed it to be Mereks. My baby girl is now in heaven. We also had her friend go with her to since her friend Ester had Mereks too.

Very sorry to hear that. This site didn't notify me like usual that you'd replied so I thought you hadn't. There's a thread where people are reporting on their experiments with Marek's treatment using homeopathic or oral Hypericum. It sounds like it's worth a go. Hypericum is used in many medicines for humans and some people have healed their chickens with it once they've been stricken by Marek's. Very sorry I didn't get back to you in time to share that, but it might help in future. Always worth a go, and it won't do any harm. Best wishes.
