Frostbite spots on roo's comb

Got a new roo and he has few black frostbite spots on his comb. Will they go away?

Are you sure they are frost bite, and not injuries, or even signs of a disease? I'm rusty on my diseases, but I believe it is fowl pox that can make spots on the comb. If you can post photos, or a really good description, that would be very helpful in diagnosing his problem. Have you tried looking at photos on the web? Peck injuries would be quite usual on a new rooster also.
