Frostbite?

I believe my girls pushed my little roo outside last night. It was in the 20's. I woke up about 4 in the morning and found him out walking in the yard, I put him up in the coop and shut the door.
Today I notice that the top of his comb looks black.

Is there anything I should do to treat this. Poor guy. I am goingto need to rehome him. My girls are not so very nice to him.

Petroleum jelly might help.

If you can close up the coop at night the girls might not push him outside.
