I have a roo (Porcelain D'Uccle) that has sustained pretty good frostbite this winter. Is there any way to trim him to make him showable? It's only the tips but they are pretty black. Thanks.

theres pros and cons about this who do you want to make him more showable too? I'm sure his girls will love him even if he does loose a little of his comb, it would be healthier to just let it fall off by it self. Mine has some frost bite on the tips of his comb and thats what i am doing just letting nature take care of it.. less blood too

We purchased him for a 4-H project so we do want him to look good. Of course we weren't planning on such a harch winter. Never have had frostbite concerns before. I may end up just using him as breeding stock. Ashame though, he is a handsome devil.
