Oops, spoke too soon. There were some pecks thrown at bedtime. Princess was also looking to roost somewhere high and it was still light enough for her to see, so I put her back in the quarantine coop and I'll move her when it's dark.

Awww. Lovely ladies.
I am up at silly o’clock trying to see if Tassels will adopt the babies now their vaccine has hopefully had time to take.
I am a nervous wreck!
Sitting in the garage in the dark waiting to leap into action if I hear murder.

Two hours in and I think everyone is alive.
She did go crazy banshee pecking me and them, but I think maybe she was just upset that they weren’t sitting under her.
30 mins until sunrise which is the next big test as I don’t know if she could really see them to kill them!
Sorry - don’t want to clog your thread but it is a bit nerve wracking sitting here in the dark!
I put a doorbell camera on the roof of the cage. That is a chick peeking out on the right. Possibly two.
