Frozen Comb and Wattle, Broken Feathers and more....

Yeah, he really is looking a great deal better just being separated from the flock and in the warm. I will continue to monitor him for a few more days just to be sure. Should I really give him a bath, I dont think either one of us would like that very much. I feel like I have already caused The poor Rooster enough stress moving him and what not. Just curious. Here is a larger photo of him.

Hello-----I would put mite powder on him if I had it ( got me some at the same place I buy feed- Lice killer dust and I also got a worming liquid) and in a couple of days I would bring him in and bath him in flea shampoo, then take peroxide and clean the legs real good, and continue the vasaline on the comb and waddles, and keep him in a dog kennel, will take 24 hours to completely dry. Then check the annal area for mites, treat again with lice and mite dust hes probley itching like crazy---They get under the scales on the feet too. They say dry garlic helps boost the immune system. What is a normal body temperature for a chicken????

Does anyone ever check a chickens temp? How???
