I have poop decks in my coop, since its been so cold, I normally scoop off the poop daily to every other day. But its stuck to the deck! What does everyone else do?

Wait until spring and clean the coop.

I use sweet pdz on mine and them use a fine cat litter scoop to sift out the poop. The only time I have the freezing problem is when they miss the poop board.

I've never used sweet pdz, do I just layer it on the poop deck?

I never used a poop deck, just deep pine shavings.

Shavings here too. Good to bucket up and add to the compost

Yes. I put a few cupfulls on the poop board. I use this to scoop it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0035H7KQ2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1420578889&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX200_QL40. It also helps keep down the smell, as if absorbs the odor.

Thank you curlyginger for the link for the scooper. I have been using sweet PDZ for over 2 years and use a reptile scooper every day to clean up, however the one you have looks to me to work a lot better because it is flat at the front (like a duster) I already ordered it.
For the OP, sweet PDZ works great at all seasons, my girls eat some of it, it works as grit and you can throw it in the compost pile because it composts and it is completely safe.
