i made suet that i froze,, fresh pig fat and seeds and other goodies.. but now i am thinking it is supposed to warm them but if they are eating cold and frozen seeds it is just chilling them? all that cold sitting in their crop? should i thaw it and put it in a dish instead?

I would allow it to thaw to room temp and serve it that way. I would not think frozen would help with the body warmth department.
