JC - so sorry to hear about your dog. That's terrible...

I was so sad today - there was a German Shepard puppy, maybe 10mths, hanging around in my parents' neighborhood. We caught him and called the # on his tag and they said they'd be up - a mile or so away.

Really sweet pup, in good weight, but not neutered.
Young man comes up to get dog, dog is obviously TERRIFIED, but, at the same time, SO TERRIBLY GLAD to see his master.

I was really sad for that pup and have been thinking of him all day...

Some people don't deserve to have animals

jc, sorry to hear about your dog.

cadeau, my dogs cower from me if they think I am mad, upset, or they know they are doing wrong, and I have never once struck them, so maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Thank you all for your sympathy! It was a hit and run. I was on the way home from my grandpa's funeral and one of the other teachers called. A small group of students had gathered in my yard. They helped me wrap her up and then buried her for me. I thought I was ok from my grandpa's death until I came home and saw her

Acre's of Blessing's, do you know what I'm going to do when I get all my blocks from you? Well no you don't but I'm going to take them all apart and move them around so if there are some of you that are NOT done you can save some time and NOT sew a set of 4 togehter and that will save me some time. I'm sure Acre's won't mind sending them to me that way will you DEAR.??????????

Ok so I am not an overachiever like some on here!!

I am going to attempt to do some of these this week.....maybe! I want to make sure I have it right before I start.

I cut the squares 6 7/8 and the strips 10 by 1 1/2 and then cut the squares on the diagonal and sew the strip in the middle. Then cut down to 6 1/2 square. Right?

Am I sewing the smaller squares into a bigger square or are we doing that ourselves once we get them all from the swap? If I am to sew them do I need to use the same materials for all 4 blocks that go in the bigger one?

I am making 48 small squares?

Sorry for all the stupid questions but I suck at patterns of any kind. I am much better at just randomly sewing things!!

I am a HUGE fan of procrastination!!!! Why do today what I can simply do tomorrow!!
