My understanding was that there was a clash of personalities which ended with one memeber leaving BYC and then the thread being shut down.

No actually Writer/Kate started it. I was going to help her out with her first swap, but there was a problem with someone and she is no longer here.

Well, to be honest, if no more than 10 people sign up for this one, I am going to have it closed too. But if anyone has any idea of a different block...I am all up for suggestions.

Thats to bad. I really enjoyed reading her stories and seeing the quilts the children made. AND who's going to correct my spelling for me????? I really liked her.

Ok went to JoAnn's and picked up some cream/tan colored material so I guess that means I am in!! I am hoping things slow down a bit here real soon. Just transitioning into being a SAHM and I have no idea how I would handle everything going on if I was still working!! On top of everything I have to clean out my mother's house that she trashed and left truckloads of junk in!!

I just stumbled across this thread. If this was In January I would have jumped on board. between May and December I have a pretty tight schedule. too many thing I love to do and JUST NOT ENOUGH TIME!

I will keep a watch out for a swap in the winter and join up!

OK I have an idea

If we each do 20 blocks and there are only 5 of us. Everyone would get 4 blocks from the same person. We could do a quilt 4 across and 5 down. What do you think about that Acre's?
