Fruit Cake

Someone sent me some feed bread and such, there was 2 fruit cakes in the bag also, so was wondering do you think the chickens will enjoy fruit cake and will it be ok to give it to them??

make sure to smell it first. booze is a basic ingredient of fruit cake. Regular, store-bought fruit cake is baked in the summer and then doused in alcohol and allowed to sit for months before being sold. Without it... it's not even really fruit cake.

Anyway, I agree... if there is no alcohol, I'm sure they'd love it
