I saw this adorable pic posted on Facebook a few weeks ago, and I can't identify the species. I'm thinking that it's a member of the Ptilinopus genus (fruit doves), but that's as far as I got. Is there anyone here familiar with wild species of pigeon who knows what species this is? And if not, enjoy it anyway -- it's pretty cute.

Your bird is a pink-necked green pigeon.

If you want to find out more, google the Latin name.
