Lot's of good treat advise here! Before I feed them anything I try and research it online to see if it would be bad or not. I did read about Avocado being a big no no. So far my two have been picky pusses about what they eat.
They love lettuce and mixed greens, spinach, tomato, grapes, apples, zucchini, peas and broccoli.
So far they don't like mango, banana, cantaloupe or blueberries. They do however like to eat the blueberry leaves and the green berries. And they managed to eat all the blueberry blossoms that they could reach. They also like my apple tree leaves. We have plums coming in soon, they don't eat the leaves but I wonder of they would like the fruit? They like dog food. One ate a frog the other day and a huge moth. I often wonder about the slugs though. Cocoa got a hold of a big one and was making choking noises, then she had this big hang down of slug slime which Jade kept trying to peck off of her beak. I had to pick her up and scrape some of that slime away. Cupped some water in my hand for her to drink, it seemed to help. I know they eat slugs but it worries me when they get the big ones!
