Oh, I'll say that I've fed bananas, but they get VERY stinky poo from them. So, now when I feed bananas, I do it in the morning so it's out of their system by the time they go into the coop! (takes 4-6 hours for a chicken to digest food.)

hahaha ,, the funny is,,,YUP sunday is my bad egg day,,4 of em dont lay on sunday, or saterday,,, the rest take up the slack on other days,,,,,,i keep telling people they mus be nuns!

I don't know if i just imagined it, but i thought tomatoes would affect the taste of the eggs, I'd like to know if this is false because I'm throwing lots of garden tomatoes right back into the compost bin.

Never had a problem personally. We feed em pretty much everything....


BTW, tomatoes will affect the taste of eggs... IT WILL MAKE THEM INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!
