Anyone ever use the lil giant incubators? Man are they touchy! i am having a horrible time getting it to the right temp and humidity! Anyone have any suggestions??

Well, I know location is the key...you've gotta put it in a draft free place that is generally steady in temperature. I know it's HARD! LOL

ditto on the location and being draft free. I had to place a couple more small containers of water to raise the humidity level, plus put a small weight on top (about 2-3 pounds) to help seal the edges of the bator. It is doing very well right now.

yes to all the above, and, in my opinion, you are not looking at an exact temp but a good range; that is, between 99 and 101. So long as it stays there, don't fool with it.

Better to be slightly low than slightly high, too.

Ok, took long enough and had to move bator to different location but it's now holding the temp fairly well, humidity too, so eggs are now in, this is my 1st time trying it, so please keep your fingers crossed.....worst part is is that i need to leave for a few days, so my daughter will be monitoring it....i feel like an expectant mommy!
