You just need a few tablespoons to your usual recipe. If you are a real fudge-face, you should try to find the book Oh Fudge by Lee Edwards Benning. It breaks things down and explains what each step does and why you need certain ingredients. It even has recipes of what to do with failed fudge. I still fail but at least I can find out why.
 
Seemed tasty and was not gritty when I licked the spoon after pouring it but I forgot the vanilla.

It is still good and it still tastes like fudge and chocolate.

what does vanilla do for baking recipes....would there be a big taste difference? My husband asked me and I did not really know.
