Full circle

I have came full circle now. I built my own incubator and the first chicks I had to hatch just started to lay. Well I have just hatched their eggs. That is pretty cool

yeah, it is fun, I have been making a hatcher for YEARS out of copier box with 25 watt light, I wanted to try a smaller box for 6 eggs with a 15 w light it works great! holds the heat even better. my box is 9''x8'' my light has a small reflector, and is resting in a small metal bowl. my eggs are resting above in a small wire basket I made out of smaller hole chick wire.
