Full crop in AM

Afternoon update. Her crop has gone from really hard, to soft and feels like full of just grit. She is drinking water.
There is a hard spot above her crop. Idk if this is a normal thing that I am just now figuring out or if this is part of the impacted crop issue.

Has it her crop shrunk in size as well as changing from hard to soft? If yes, hopefully that means things are passing through, and you can try giving her some soft foods -- like chicken feed mixed with water to see how that goes. I'm not sure what the hard spot you refer to could be. Could you be pressing down far enough to be feeling bone? Hopefully some more experience chicken people here can help with that.

Happy to report that this morning her crop was empty! I put her back out with the flock and will check her first thing in the morning to make sure it’s back to normal!
