Yep, shipped eggs here, I don't drive and its much harder to get particular poultry and eggs over here in the UK too. I'd love to see the black mottled.

I'm bidding on some quail d'anver eggs right now, but only because they are so similar and non of the d'uccles that are up for sale are colours I like!

Ooooo, I didn't realize this will be a 'full moon hatch'. I have eggs in hatcher set 22nd, 23rd, and 24th (I kept finding cartons of eggs that 'needed' to be set).

I have 2 broodies right now setting on 25 eggs. Got my first chick this afternoon. She has another pip. She is still in the nesting box so I am moving her tonight after dark to a cage. They werent supposed to hatch til tomorrow.
