Not yet. I opened an egg yesterday and the chick wasn't quite fully formed. So I'm still giving them some more time.

Well, nothing going on w/my EE eggs. We're leaving this afternoon for the weekend. Was expecting babies on Monday and here it is Thursday.

I guess I have to give up on this batch and try again next month.

I've had my Showgirl w/my Silky for 2-3 weeks now, so I plan on collecting the Silky's eggs and incubating them. I have a GOOD thermometer this time so shouldn't have a temp problem again.

its usually means the temp has been too high in incubation for early pips

you may be ok with day 19 pip only although external pips should be on day 21

early or late hatches are assosiated with deformaties but your chick may just be an early one

next batch make sure the temp is spot on
