So I have about 11 chicks that are feathered and for Tennessee we are having an unusual cold snap it going to be in the 30s the next few night and they are calling for a chance of snow next week should I wait to get them coop ready. Here is a pic of one

How old are they and what is the brooding temp at? I would think they wouldn't be acclimated enough for the lower outdoor temps.

They are about 6 1/2 weeks old haven't had a heat lamp on in a little over a week temp in the house is usually around 70

I am not versed in chicks and the outdoors, but I would think 30 is too cold. Have you acclimated them outside at all - Giving them time outdoors in a safe area to forage?
Hopefully someone chimes in here with more knowledge regarding chicks. Is there anyway to change your title to fit your question better?
