Fully Zipped Egg bleeding out: UPDATE pg 5

Sorry about your little one. But, you done the right thing by wrapping him in a damp cloth and putting him back in the bator. I had one that done almost the same thing and he didn't make it. They don't have that much blood to lose and it makes them very weak. But, I do hope he makes it.

If you don't do anything he probably won't make it. It was worth a try, and he might be okay now. A lot of "natural selection" is plain bad luck. Sometimes that can be helped.

for the little guy.

He has unwrapped himself from the paper towel, but is still in the tupperware--so he is staying moist. I bumped humidity up again to help him out a bit. He looks weak, but who knows? The sack looks smaller, but the paper towel seems all pink. I suspect things will work themselves out one way or another by morning.

When I go to bed, I will re-wrap him in a new towel.

Best wishes for the baby!

Hope it pulls through! Regardless of whether it makes it or not, try to be proud that you stepped in and tried to help. Sometimes that's just the best we can do.

You were with the AZ folks eating brownie batter and drinking the hard stuff last night, weren't you?

I turned the other eggs, wrapped him in a new warm, wet, washcloth, and put a sopping wet washcloth in the bator to bump up humidity.

The sack looked smaller, and I think I actually heard him sigh when I rewrapped him. He promptly fell asleep, and asked me to turn out the light.

So well see.

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the support.
