In a hollow in a huge tree towards the back of the property. . . a whole mess of honey bees that are a more than welcome discovery. I could hardly believe it. This may sound silly, but so far this is my favorite thing about the house. I've always had a thing for bees.
How about a toilet paper holder..you know the cabinets that are only as square as a roll of T-paper but hold 4 rolls (tall and skinny) paint a " break glass in case of fire" at the top of the door and then paint a fire hose hanging under it. The way it was before the sprinkler system.

I know very little about beekeeping, and since we're not very big on sweets, honey isn't something we're very into. I've had the same little jar for years now. Would it be a problem, leaving them there, or is there more of a risk of them moving off or something? There are tons of them . . . I figure they'll love the chaste trees we'll be putting in. I'm just happy they're there.
