I do have to admit that the Simpson's episode "A Fish Called Selma" really had a good thing going with "Stop the Planet of the Apes! I want to get off": the Broadway musical of Planet of the Apes with Falco's Rock Me Amadeus parody called "Help us, Dr. Zaius" and corny vaudeville jokes. Hilarious. I wish they had made it for real. It was FAR better than the remake of Planet of the Apes.
