So Cal
I had a guy come and buy guineas from me - He asked if I had seen a feather with a heart. He has fifty guineas and said they're hard to find. He makes jewelry out of guinea feathers. Since he left I look for hearts every morning - Here is one of my best (not nearly as good as his, but you can get the idea).

When I got guineas I didn't know they had polka dotted feathers so the first time I found one I was so excited. I pick up most of the feathers I see and now I have something else to look for in them. It's another reason I like the pearls so much. I didn't know coral blues had dots - sounds pretty!

Coral Blues, Royal Purples, Chocolates, Buffs etc all have some partial pearling on the wings and the lower skirt/flank areas.

I've never noticed the hearts before, but I was checking out/comparing some flight feathers I found while walking the Guinea pasture the other day and noticed the pattern differences and that there are dog bone shaped pearls/bars on some of them, not just round pearls and straight bars... trippy!

Does anyone know if each individual bird has it's own unique pearling pattern, kind of like how we have fingerprints?
