I'll just jump right in and say that BRs are sweet and friendly. Speckled hen's roo, Gabriel, came to live with us 3 weeks ago and he is a dear.

Yes my br are so sweet come right up and eat out of my hand. Funny about the feed store there was chicks at ours today and I walked out with nothing!!

Hey, Barbara! Thanks for being Gabriel's new mom. I'm so glad he's in a home where he's appreciated.
Lunachick, you let me know when you're coming through and if I have some chicks hatched out by a broody, you're welcome to them if you stop by. When I have broodies, the plan is to put BR and Blue Orp eggs under them, but the Chicken Asylum here is about full, so they'll all have to be sold/given away, most likely.
