Okay I posted this thinking it was respiratory but now not so sure.
Details:
Hen 1.5 yrs, Roo 5 months (mother/son)
Hen started with gurgled breathing then the next day the Roo did also. Both sound like they are "purring" and sneezing there is no discharge, they are both eating and drinking.
My flock has been closed for 3 months now. I did get 4 chicks 3 weeks ago, but they are far away from the flock. It has been so hot here that I have been "spraying" down the coop with water, there is hay in the coop. Also, I bought feed from a story that I never have before, that was about a week ago. They store it outside.
So far I have separated those two, cleaned out all coops, scrubbed down all feeders/waters, today I added antibiotics to water, I thought they had respiratory issues. Now I think it might be fungal, thanks to another BYC member.
Here are the two affected. See how both have a "white" lid showing in the corner of their eye. Does that help? Thank you for any help you can offer.
Please not that is her wing not her crop. She is holding it out.
