This morning after letting out my chickens I noticed a single bubble in the corner of my roosters eye. It quickly went away and I haven’t seen a new one pop up. I inspected him closer and noticed a patch on his comb that smells funky. I smell his mouth but no smell there. When I opened his mouth to smell it he kind of let out a breath, idk if that is normal or not. I believe he has peck wounds on his comb as well. Otherwise he is acting totally normal

What a beautiful boy! Look at those wattles!

Can you see if you can loosen the crusty stuff on his comb?
yes, it came off pretty easily. It smells like oysters is the only way I know how to describe it. Looked like it was deeply burrowed into the comb.

I applied 2% miconazole pretty liberally to it, smooshing it into the crevices.
