Yes I double posted this! I posted in May Hatch Along as well, forgive me if you are reading this twice, but wanted to make sure some one smarter than me sees it!:frow

Ok lovely people, I have a question. First time hatching shipped eggs. Just did 7 day candling on 16 silkie eggs. One looks to be infertile, 13 look great and have veining and nice aircells. 2 have "funky" aircells, not quite saddle, more "heart" shaped after I outlined them in pencil. The embryos appear to be developing in these eggs as well. Should I do anything different with the 2 "funky" eggs? I have read different threads here, as well as the articles, but I am not sure what to do with these two now 7 days in. I am hatching in a Brinsea Max II with auto turner.
Thanks so much for any advise you wise owls may have!:love

I had air cells like that, surprisingly chicks did still hatch I just left them to do what eggs do. I really only worry at day 10 candling and then hatch days, but seeing its an incubator, candle again on day 14 and see if anything smells or no movement. If they move keep them, if they smell throw them out or crack them to try and see what's wrong. Best of luck!! :)

I figured as much but should I do anything in particular with them other than just wait it out? It is day seven already.😊
