My chicks have areas of "funky" festhers on their breasts. They are dark shafted with a tuft of feather right at the end. They eat and do everything chicks are supposed to do and don't act sick. I see them "cock fighting" every now and then and wonder if it's blood on the feathers. These are all supposed to be hens.
