I bought 27 chicks last Monday from my local feed store and about 8 of them have this wierd funky thing going on with the ends of their toes. I can't upload pictures but at first I thought it was just poop or something from digging but they are not outgrowing it and it seems to be getting bigger. It is not on all toes but it covers the nail. Has anyone heard of anything like this before?
