Some of our more fun names have been:
Helen the Fellon (couldn't keep her in the brooder)
Rosie the Red with the flopsy head (first hen that had a comb fall over)
Isabell you looks like a fella (Really thought she was a cockrel as she had a hugh comb very young. Put her back on butchering day and she laid an egg the next morning with a lot of singing.)
Big Bertha (she's a bossy girl)
DB (formerly known as Duck Butt)
Henny Penny (would run like crazy as soon as you said her name)
Snowballed (she was very bald)
Snert
Poke it Dot
My son calls Dark Cornish Blueberries as they remind him of the gluteous girl on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Bare backed chickens are called naked nellies
We have a Curly Jan and a Curly Joe
Old Hairy Larry is one of our roosters
Mr Hackles is another
Napoleon is our SSH roo
Waldo is our first SSH hen (Every day we would have to search for her in the trees)
Tiny Tot was a CornishX that just never really grew.
Our first roosters that came with our first hens were known as Chicken Licken, Cockey Locky, and Liberace (he kept trying to mate the other roo's), and Rudy Roo. We ate all but Rudy who is also known a Big Daddy when it's time for young cockeral discipline.
