Funniest stories ever

I'll start with one that happened yesterday.


Apparently one of my neighbors was driving to work and she saw 3 chickens way up the street that she thought were mine. She actually called me and asked if my chickens had ran away! I told her "No, all my chickens are safe and sound in my yard...." and that the chickens up the street were supposed to be there and they were not mine.

It was pretty funny.

hehe

i once saw my EE and my delaware pullet chick together under the hanging water bucket.
apparently, when my EE pecks at the nipples, some water drops down and the chick drinks it. there a great team!

there also was another time when my EE was in the nesting box...... On top of Floppy!
floppy is the top of the pecking order so she must've been fine with that!

This isn't my story, but I heard someone on BYC tell it a while ago. I forget who (or else I would tag them).

They had an EE that liked to run and spread her wings and glide. One time she did this and the wind caught her and she went right up and over the fence into the neighbors yard! They said she "screamed the whole way"!

Last fall when I had young Muscovy ducks, there were 3 males and 4 females. The males would run around flapping but couldn't get off the ground. The females would show off their flying skills. One female was flying just over her brother head when he reached up, grabbed her foot, and slammed her to the ground.
